You will be welcomed at the airport by your private driver-guide who will be with you for your journey, and chauffeured to the beautiful Glenapp Castle in the West Coast of Scotland, where you will stay for your first night. Your first dinner of the trip will be a 3 AA Rosette experience in the castle’s grand dining room where you can watch your first Scottish sunset over Ailsa Craig and the beautiful Ayrshire coastline.

After breakfast, set off on a half-day private sea excursion to Ailsa Craig, a dramatic volcanic island rising out of the Firth of Clyde. This uninhabited island is famed for its birdlife, granite cliffs and as the historic source of granite for curling stones. You’ll cruise along the picturesque Ayrshire coastline, keeping an eye out for seals, dolphins and seabirds as your skipper takes you into hidden coves and around the island’s natural beauty.

After breakfast, your first stop is the magnificent Culzean Castle, perched dramatically on the Ayrshire cliffs and surrounded by sprawling gardens and woodlands. A jewel in the crown of the National Trust for Scotland, this 18th-century masterpiece offers elegant rooms filled with antiques, weaponry and tales of Scotland’s noble past.
Don’t miss the Clifftop Walk, offering breathtaking views over the Firth of Clyde. And as you explore, you may hear about the unique connection to U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower, who was gifted an apartment in the castle in 1945 as a gesture of wartime gratitude.

Begin the day with a trip to Callander and a stop at the Trossachs Woolen Mill, a charming and picturesque destination located in the heart of the Trossachs National Park is well-known for its high-quality woollen goods and its role in showcasing traditional Scottish craftsmanship.
Take the opportunity to feed the resident highland coos with freshly made goody bags. Once the Coos have full bellies and you’ve got evidence of your time together, it’s time to head onto Pitlochry.

Your journey continues to Oban, the "Gateway to the Isles." Explore this bustling harbour town, rich in maritime history, and visit McCaig’s Tower, a striking granite structure reminiscent of Rome’s Colosseum. Perched above the town, it offers sweeping views over the bay and surrounding islands.
EVENING
From Oban, travel through one of Scotland’s most iconic landscapes, Glencoe. It is a place of both tragic history and extraordinary beauty. Moorlands and waterfalls, peaks and winding glens – it is one of the country's most photographed locations. Film fans may recognise spots from Harry Potter, including the site of Hagrid’s Hut.

AFTERNOON
You’ll enjoy a casual yet scenic lunch at a local eatery near Neptune’s Staircase, the longest staircase lock in Britain. Designed by Thomas Telford, this 19th-century engineering marks the start of the Caledonian Canal.

Next, continue to Scone Palace, one of Scotland’s most historically significant sites. Pronounced “Scoon,” it was once the crowning place of Scottish kings, including Robert the Bruce.
