OUR STORY
DFH Scotland was born long before it became a business – in childhood memories shaped by winding Highland roads, glens straight from a fairytale, teeing off on majestic golf courses and evenings spent warming by the fire with stories passed down through generations.
From his adventures with his father David, Douglas inherited many things, but most of all, a deep respect and enduring love for Scotland. That shared passion carried them far beyond childhood, evolving from father and son road trips to shared drams, big ideas, long conversations and a vision for something of their own.
Late one evening in 2022, they made the decision to turn a lifetime of their favourite moments into their life’s work. As devoted golfers and whisky enthusiasts, admirers of ancient castles and self–confessed food lovers, they knew they could offer something more than a tour.
David and Douglas wanted to extend an invitation – to help guests weave their own chapter into the living history of Scotland, and into a story that felt deeply personal.
What began as the simple joy of time spent together has evolved into a desire to bring others along for the journey, one shaped by heritage and elevated through quiet luxury. An adventure where guests depart not only having seen the heart of Scotland, but having claimed their own place within its story.
